Here we go! TP-Link is another company that thinks that security by obscurity could ever work. If you "backup" the configuration from most TP-Link routers, you will get a .BIN file which is "encrypted". Use this utility below, to decrypt it (so you can edit it) and encrypt it again. Have fun. Great tool! Frankly speaking I wasn`t expecting it but this utility succeded where even H2OUVE and modified Grub shell with setup_var command injected failed.

Thanks! The only limit is that many uefi variables are accessible only from uefi and not from any OS. Aside from that it works pretty well. Out of curiosity: what was your problem?
